I already posted on the "Intro" board, but noone seemed to notice. I've yet to buy that "Odessa" album.. I have the 1st 3 remastered albums and that "Greatest" album (covering the disco years).
and "Best Of...Vol. 2", along with Polydor's edition of "Life In a Tin Can" and "Mr. Natural"
I also downloaded songs from Amazon. I downloaded quite a bit from "Trafalgar" and "To Whom It May Concern" and Maurice's "Lay It On Me" from "2 Years On" (I sure do wish Mo sang more solo) I was trying to look for another Mo song called "Railroad", i heard it on YouTube, i loved it. His vocal style always had that "drifter, backwoods, swampy" feel to it. Unfortunatly, it's not even available for download. Bummer! I guess i just might have to wait for the other remasters.

Railroad may be a bit tricky to get download-wise. It was a single by Maurice for his unreleased The Loner solo album and the song has only been issued on a couple of CD releases, the "Tales From The Brothers Gibb" box set and the Japanese "Rare Collection" CD. Many of these non-Bee Gees releases and non album tracks have unfortunately been forgotten when the downloads became available. If Warner would make the Tales box available as a download it would at least fill some blank spots while the CD remasters catch up. You may have to try to find the box set on eBay, "Rare Collection" is also recommended but you may find it goes for big $$$ and the box set may be the cheaper route. Both do offer rarities not found anywhere else on CD.

Since Railroad is from The Loner and the Gibb brothers' solo albums aren't expected to be released until after the Bee Gees catalogue is completed it could be a while before Railroad is made available and then it isn't all too certain that those unreleased solo albums will see a release at all.

So the next CD from Rhino to be remastered is the Robinless "Cucumber Castle", but they're going to ignore "Robin's Reign". Couldn't they just put songs from those 2 albums, mix it up and make it one album or 2 CD set with some bonus matereal or something?
Whatever Rhino does with the next set, it ain't gonna be easy.
Personly, i think it'd be easier to skip both albums and go on to "2 Years On" and sort out the solo and "Cucmber Castle" albums later.

There is a strong possibility that the Cucumber Castle, 2 Years On and Trafalgar remasters are all done and ready to go, these were scheduled to be released at one point but the delay with Odessa may have prevented this. Cucumber Castle is regardless of Robin's departure still a Bee Gees album, out of the 5-piece band of that period they were still 3 members left (until Colin was sacked and replaced by Geoff). The Bee Gees albums have always been a priority and among the last things one of the people involved mentioned prior to the gag order was that they'd like to do the solo albums but they would likely to be done later.

If we do get them I'd venture a guess we'd see Robin's Reign alongside Mo's "The Loner", Barry's "The Kid's No Good" and Robin's "Sing Slowly Sisters". There is however the issue of finding the mastertapes for Sing Slowly Sisters so that might delay a release such as this if not quelch it altogether. If so then we may see Rhino rather pairing up the solo projects in individual box sets for each brother. I'd make a further guess that this will be the point we see re-issues of Andy's albums too.

In the end I'm not too bothered as long as Rhino does a good job in remastering these recordings and adding those previously unheard gems.

I've just heard Mo's "Country Woman" on YouTube. I'd assume that would probley be the bonus track on "Trafalgar", since it was the B-side to "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart"

Correct, another one that is found on "Tales" and "Rare Collection" also. There are some outstanding recordings left off from those Trafalgar sessions that are floating around. There is also the first version they did of Ellan Vannin back then with the three of them singing it in unison.
