Wouldn't it be great if Barry & Robin teamed up again for another CD? I'd love to see that on TV, a DVD, with new songs. I know that the Barry and Robin can continue making music for others, but I really know that they can more music for the two of them. This is one of my hopes in my life. I hope they settle things out and come back. Their fans MISS them!!!

Love to Barry & Robin,
Amy Vitale

Hello Amy. I agree with everything you are saying. I think Barry and Robin should come back to the studeo and make an album and put out a new dvd. That would be very cool.

I too would love to see & hear new music from Barry & Robin. Especially, Robin. His voice melts my heart. I have all 4 of their DVD's, I've learned so much about them that I didn't know. I saw them Live, in 1979, during the "Saturday Night Fever" frenzzy. But I've come to like their older songs ( '67-"71 ) ( 80"s & 90's ) and the last CD "This Is Where I Came In" was even better. I have some of their earlier CD's as well as Robin's Solo CD's. JULIET, just blows me away !!

One thing I haven't found out is about Robin's children. What about Spencer & Melissa? Does anyone have a BIO on them? And, RJ ? I heard Dwinna say that he had a keyboard & could sing but this was in 2001. Anything on him?

Hello I'm new to the group but I have loved the Bee Gees since the 70's I watched Barry on American Idol and it was great seeing him but sad to.Before He even came on I started crying I wish Robin would have been there to. I agree I would like to see and hear them together again I know it's very hard for them without Maurice it is such a tragic loss I miss him and Andy too but I think Maurice would want them to continue singing and performing so I hope they do thanks and Happy Mother's Day to all! oybeegees1962

I have been a Bee Gees fan since day one (in the US anyway). I was in college in 1967 when "New York Mining Disaster 1941" was released. No one had heard of the Bee Gees at the time and the rumor was it was really the Beatles under another name. I still have all my original albums from the "1st" and repeated purchases on CD's as well as DVD's, etc. I saw them live twice at concerts at Valley Forge Music Fair in PA and one time sat in the first row, before others discovered them when Saturday Night Fever came out. I used to have a lot of parties in those days (being a 20 something) and played almost exclusively Bee Gee LP's and people would ask me "Who is that?" as they liked the music a lot which they did not normally hear at parties. It was usually the Stones, etc.

Point is, Bee Gees have been a family affair that they fortunately shared with us all, including Andy. Their music is very personal to me and as a true fan, I think Barry and Robin owe it to Maurice in a loving way to keep the Bee Gees moving forward in his honor. I can understand the loss, both personally and professionally, but they are supremely talented and should accept the challenge, and honor their family and fans, and all they have accomplished by keeping on keeping on. Think how great it'd be to hear new things from Barry and Robin, together. They are truly unique.

Thanks for letting me comment. Smiler

I've just now joined this message board. This may be a stupid question, but is there a chance that the Bee Gees will tour again? Or at least do a public appearance or two?

Hi All,

I actually believe they will put something out together in the future. I am not sure whether a tour would ever happer to be honest. At the end of the day, a tour is very gruelling even for young stars. However, I do believe (its justa hunch) that they will record again together and maybe even put out a new album together.

I have seen the Bee Gees live three times in concert, twice during the one for all tour and once during the high civilization tour. I also had the career high of perfoming with the Bee Gees in 1997 live on Heart FM (I am part of a Bee Gees Tribute Show).

We sang to love somebody with them live on the air and afterwards had a really long chat with all three of them. They were really nice guys and very down to earth. As a massive Bee Gees fan, it is certainly a day that I will not forget.

Kind Regards
Gary Simmons

I think the only way these two Brothers Gibb will perform together with be with unreleased recordings with Brother Maurice on the track. They did this with Brother Andy on the One Night Only DVd
"don't throw it all away", and on "man on fire" from the tribute cd.

Surely Brother Barry and Brother Robin have spoken about this, maybe on the anniversary they might put something together...

I support all that has been said so far - I believe the brothers need to get back on stage doing what they have enjoyed over 5 decades. I respect their apprehension due to such a significant loss - but I do hope they can see how much they are needed on the music world stage. They have always been a musical family so I hope the children of the brothers support a return to the stage in the memory of Maurice.
